Product Description
Sintered Laboratory Glassware
The glass fiber structure of PISCOTM sintered filters results in a more abrasion resistant surface. Being fused together on a greater surface area, the particles do not detach from the filter body as easily as spheroid granules. Being made entirely of heat resistant borosilicate glass, resistance to thermal shock and chemical attack is unimpaired. PISCOTM sintered filters are manufactured from 100% low expansion borosilicate glass grains and cleaned, till it is 100% chemically pure. PISCOTM sintered filters are extensively used for the filtration of both liquids and gases. A range of seven porosities is available to cover a wide range of application. For Bacterial/Viral Filtration, Protein Separation, and HPLC, It is suggested to use PiscoTM Membrane Filtration Set. Cat. No.105a/105b.

5 | 2-5 | Very fine precipitates, analytical work, general bacteria filtration. |
OPERATING PRESSURE LIMIT
Fritted sintered glassware is designed primarily for vacuum filtration or for gas flow at relatively low pressure. If used for pressure work the maximum differential on the disc should not exceed 15 psi.
PISCOTM manufacture a very wide range of sintered glass filtration sets with different models/sizes & porosities. Apart from these range, we can fabricate any special type/model sintered filter apparatus according to customer’s design and specification.
